The musical tug-of-war over the song "Mafia" has taken another dramatic turn. Rising singer Wizzard OG has fired back at Hatim and Dokey's accusations with a video of his own, defending his decision to release the track and trashing song stealing allegations.
In a short video clip shared on his TikTok account, Wizzard OG addressed the controversy head-on, explaining his side of the story. He stated that the decision to release "Mafia" was driven by a desire to share the music with his fans, especially since Hatim and Dokey appeared to be dragging their feet on the project.
"Hey everyone, I've seen the accusations flying around from Dokey, and I want to set the record straight. I released 'Mafia' because it seemed like Hatim and Dokey weren't focusing on it, and my fans were eagerly waiting. I couldn't keep them hanging. But if this did not sit well with you then we have to settle it"- Wizzard defended.
The back-and-forth between the artists has captivated fans and the music community alike, with both sides standing firm on their stances. Wizzard OG emphasized that his intention was never to cause a rift but to ensure the song reached the audience it was meant for.
