Singer Cindy Sanyu has weighed in on rumors surrounding Winnie Nwagi’s potential departure from Swangz Avenue, advising her to first stage another concert with them before going solo.
According to Cindy, Nwagi is not yet in the perfect position to go solo, despite her undeniable talent and strong fan base. Speaking on the matter, the Boom Party hitmaker emphasized that while Nwagi’s first concert was a huge success, it could have been even bigger with better planning and promotion.
“I feel like she needs to get more from them. She earned from her first concert, which was poorly advertised. It would have been given more time because people love Nwagi. My advice is that she should organize just one more show and run away from them,” Cindy said.
Having experienced the transition from group to solo career herself after leaving Blu*3, Cindy believes Nwagi has what it takes to thrive independently—but only if she makes the move wisely. She encouraged her to capitalize on her current momentum, secure another massive show, and cement her position in the industry before stepping out on her own.
While Swangz Avenue has not publicly commented on the speculation surrounding Nwagi’s possible exit, the conversation has sparked debate among fans and industry insiders.
