Renowned dancehall artist Fik Gaza has been arrested in a targeted police operation aimed at curbing a rise in robbery cases within and outside Katwe Division, together with his crew are now being held behind police cells.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango, the operation was conducted at Fik Gaza’s residence, leading to the arrest of four suspects:
During the raid, police recovered exhibits including pangas, military attire, and suspected narcotics, which have since been secured in the Police exhibit chambers.
Authorities revealed that Fik Gaza’s residence was allegedly harboring some of the city’s most wanted criminals, including Zziwa Charles, who was discovered to have escaped custody while facing a murder charge.
Onyango confirmed that sanctioned case files have been prepared for all suspects, and the legal process is set to unfold.
