Daphine Frankstock Idringi, wife to stand up comedian Patrick Idringi alias Salvado is elated after King Oyo Nyimba appointed her father, as the new Premier of Tooro Kingdom on Friday.
Mr Kiyingi succeeded Mr. Bernard Tungwako who decided to step down from his position and will be deputised by Ms Harriet Nyakake and Kwemara Ngabu as second and third deputy prime ministers respectively.
The Kingdom Deputy Information Minister, Mr Vincent Mugume, confirmed the resignation of the Tungwako saying the King has accepted his resignation and replaced him with Mr Stephen Kiyinji. He will be deputised by Ms Harriet Nyakake and Kwemara Ngabu as second and third prime ministers respectively.
Through her socials, the brown beauty queen has excitedly shared the good news to her friends and follwers;
"Today has been a blessed day as my father Elder honourable Omuhikirwa Stephen Kiyigi frankstock Amooti has been appointed as new prime minister of Tooro Kingdom...Am sure you are going to do our kingdom proud...so happy for you papa," posted Daphine Frankstock.
Tooro Kingdom with King Oyo at the helm has had 10 prime ministers.
They include; John Sanyu Katuramu, Steven Nyabongo Rwakijuma, David Rusa, Steven Irumba, William Nyakatura, Dr Apollo Karugaba, Amos Mugisa, Steven Kaliba and Bernard Tungwako and now Stephen Kiyinji.
