Beautician Betty Nassali a.k.a Bettinah Tianah became so furious after singer Jose Chameleone’s ex-wife Daniella Atim Mayanja joking about her dark skin colour and how she will be descriminated once she flies out to Europe for shopping, now the later has issued an aology.
Through her Facebook page, Bettinah Tianah revealed how she wanted to, “go to Europe for shopping so bad.” and one of her followers identified as Luwangula Mukaabya partly replied saying, “those countries are so segregative to the extent of segregating the woman that got married to the Queen’s son. How about you with dark buttocks?”
This comment seems to have sounded quite hilarious to Daniella Atim Mayanja who immediately took a screenshot and shared it on her Instagram with a humorous caption.
In a post, the former NTV presenter Bettinah wondered how she would go ahead to post such a comment on her IG.
“Dear Daniella Atim, the respect I had for you just got flashed down the drain. Nothing is funny here at all. I expected you to condemn such behavior, the fact that it humors you to the extent of posting for your followers to laugh baffles me, “Being black ain’t a crime.” Bettinah wrote.
Later on, Daniella came out and explained her reason for laughing at the comment;
"Dear Bettina, I am sorry you feel insulted that I am having a light moment . You are definitely a beautiful woman and I was hoping you could loosen up a little and laugh at the comment directed at your original post like I did. We can’t be serious all the time, can we? It’s ok to have a light moment and you too can have one. In any case I am a black Woman too and I love every black woman. Now let’s hawk that bizigo"- she replied.
Meanwhile, the post has now been deleted from the social media pages,
If you think Bettina overreacted to Daniella posting a demeaning comment about her, you are pathetic. There is nothing "light" about skin color shaming. Something she (Daniella) should have disregard.
