Express FC Gets First Win Under Coach James Odoch

Following a run of six matches without a league win since succeeding Wasswa Bbosa at Express FC, James Odoch has finally got his first win at the club on his seventh league match of coaching the seven time Uganda Premier League champions.

Express FC beat visitors Police FC 2:1 with goals coming from George Ssenkaaba and Ivan Mayanja whereas Tonny Mawejje pulled one for the cops.

The win, the eighth of the season for the Red Army took them to 36 points and currently stand sixth on the table with 12 draws and 3 losses. The Uganda Premier League defending champions are left with seven games to end the season of 30 matches.

However, on Police FC side, the cops are yet win a match since a 4:2 thrashing of Tooro United on 1st March with a four match winless run and are currently languishing in 10th position with 24 points from 5 wins, 9 draws and 9 losses.

In Jinja, home side Gaddafi FC lost 3:1 to visitors UPDF FC.Ezekiel Katende, Ambrose Kigozi and Okello Donati scored for the soldiers whereas Brian Kalumba scored a consolation for Gaddafi FC.
