Sylvia Namutebi to Fly Uganda's Flag High at Mrs World Grand Finale in Las Vegas this Weekend

Mrs. Uganda, Sylvia Namutebi Allibhai will this Saturday, the 15th of January represent Uganda at the Mrs. World Grand Finale at Westgate Resort in Las Vegas.

Together with married beauty queens from 57 other countries including USA, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, Italy, Zambia, Canada, India, Puerto Rico, Philippines and more, Sylvia will walk the runway and take on challenges with a hope to win the prestigious Mrs. World title.

According to the organizers, the event, founded in 1984, celebrates “the uniqueness of married women” as well as their families and communities and aspires to motivate and inspire millions of women to come forward and create a holistic community that celebrates the true essence of beauty and acknowledges their power to think and create.

Holding the Ugandan flag high, Mrs. Sylvia Namutebi Allibhai is a Human Resource Manager at Talent Africa Group and philanthropist with passion for supporting marginalized women and children. The mother of one flew to Las Vegas at the end of December to tour and get accustomed to the weather ahead of the pageant bootcamp and this weekend’s grand finale.

The reigning Mrs. World is Kate Schneider from Ireland who has spent the week mentoring and sharing with the beauty queens ahead of the crowning.

Mrs. World 2022 will be crowned on Saturday, January 15, at a glitzy event at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. The finale will start at 5:00PM Pacific Time ( 4:00am, January 16th East African Time.)
