Tooro United And Arua Hills Get Promoted To The Uganda Premier League

Tooro United has gotten an immediate return to the Star Times Uganda Premier League after a 1:0 win against Kigezi Home Boys. Thanks to a goal from the penalty spot by Marvin Oshaba.

Marvin Oshaba was fouled in the forbidden area in the 27th minute but he rose up to hit the resulting penalty in the net that sent the Fort Portal based side in wild celebrations.

It was a fully deserved reward for the Edward Golola coached side that spent the whole of the season at the top the Rwenzori group table.

In the Star Times Uganda Premier League, they will joined by Arua Hills. Arua Hills beat former Uganda Premier League side Paidah Black Angels 3:0.

The two sides will be joined by one of Proline FC, Nyamityobora FC from the Rwenzori group and Gaddafi FC and Blacks Power FC from Elgon group.

Proline FC and Nyamityobora finished and second and third respectively in Rwenzori group whereas Gadafi FC and Blacks Power finished second and third respectively in Elgon group.
