Stubborn Dr Stella Nyanzi and aspiring Kampala Woman Member of Parliament has on Tuesday 22nd been released on a non-cash bail of 1 million Uganda shillings.
The academic research don who was over the weekend arrested at the Uganda-Kenya border in Busia town after disobeying lockdown directives has been released with her political assistant Roy Rugumayo by Grade One Magistrate Kebei of Busia Chief Magistrate's Court.
According to reports Dr Nyanzi crossed the border to Kenya through a porous border point.
Stella Nyanzi and her co-accused will be reporting back at the Busia Chief Magistrate's Court on 22/10/2020 for the further hearing of their case.
