In the past few months, the Kampala socialite touch has been flashed at city lawyer and Prophet Elvis Mbonye’s self-proclaimed son known as Simon Ssenyonga seen splashing obscene money just to make his lover happy but do you know his source of income? We break down all we know.
Who is Simon Ssenyonga?
Born in December, 1993, Simon Ssenyonga, regardless of his young age is a Remnant at Zoe Fellowship Ministries owned by Prophet Elvis Mbonye.
Simon Ssenyonga doesn’t come from a badly off family as he attended good quality and mildly expensive schools from City Parents' School along Kabaka-Anjagala road in Mengo for his Primary to Seeta High School for O-Level and finally Naalya SS where he was Head Prefect.
Why is Simon Ssenyonga Famous?
Ssenyonga started becoming famous when he joined Makerere University’s School of Law where he embarked on a journey that saw him complete four years to attain a law degree and subsequently a diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC).
Currently he is working with the Centre for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD), he has seen it all in just the two years he has been out of school.
He is also an African Moot Court champion, a former guild aspirant at Makerere University and currently Ssenyonga is a full time worshiper at Prophet Elvis Mbonye’s church. He says his practice is honest and with his Godly background, he hopes to work to ensure that he is not involved in any illicit scandals that may claim to stray him.
Earlier in 2019, Mr Simon Ssenyonga is said to have made the UGX1 billion pledge towards the Zue Ministries structural building of which he paid about Shs160m in installments on a daily basis.
Later on, he went ahead and proposed to his wife now, Sharon Kyomugisha after renting out Acacia Cinema Hall all for themselves. He also splashed hundreds of money on their Bridal Shower and then the Kwanjula ceremony that raised eyebrows in Bugolobi.
Simon Ssenyonga Source of Income:
Mr Ssenyonga’s source of money at his tender age yet he had only been working for about two years, having left university in 2017 left many people wondering, including Blizz Uganda investigators.
When our snoops asked him about his source of Income, Mr Ssenyonga said he acquires the money by the help of the Prophet Mbonye’s Supernatural Manifestation.
“This is not my 1/10 contribution (kimu kya kumi) and neither is it my contribution to the honoring dinner of the Prophet. This is what we call ‘Seed’ in prophetic language,” he is quoted as saying.
The lawyer contested for the Makerere University guild presidency in 2016 and lost. He has always appeared in the news and authored many articles defending Pastor Mbonye’s prophetic gifts.
On top of all that, he also owns a charity foundation known as Simon Senyonga Foundation.
