Singer Patrick Mulwana aka Alien Skin has reportedly spent 2 days behind bars in custody at Kibuye Police Station following an incident where he allegedly assaulted the son of a prominent man which led to his arrest.
According to blogger Ray Supastar, Alien Skin is in deep trup with the complainant's family demanding UGX 15 million to settle the case.
Efforts to release Alien Skin were made yesterday by his associates Harunah Mubiru and Harunah Kasolo. They approached the Officer in Charge (OC) at Kibuye Police Station, but their request for bail was denied. The OC cited numerous unresolved case files against the musician, explaining that Alien Skin had been released on several occasions before, much to the dissatisfaction of previous complainants.
The OC made it clear that Alien Skin would not be released until the matter with the complainant's family is resolved. According to reports, the family is requesting UGX 15 million to drop the case, but so far, Alien Skin has only offered UGX 3 million.
Negotiations are ongoing, and it remains to be seen how the case will unfold, but for now, the artist continues to remain behind bars. This latest development adds to the legal woes that have followed the artist, with fans and the public eagerly waiting for the outcome.
Stay tuned for updates as the situation develops.
