Member of Parliament, Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya, was overcome with emotion as he shed tears upon his arrival at Entebbe International Airport following his return from the Netherlands. He strongly stated that NUP deputy spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro should nevery bury him when he dies.
During an address to the press at the airport, expressed his deep disappointment with the comments made by the opposition NUP deputy spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, alleging that he had fabricated his illness.
The MP, Segirinya, was profoundly affected by these remarks and declared that Mufumbiro would not be welcome at his funeral if he were to pass away as predicted by his doctors.
Several weeks ago, Mufumbiro launched a scathing attack on Segirinya during a social media live stream, criticizing him for seeking financial assistance from Kampala MP Muhammad Nsereko to cover his medical expenses at the Amsterdam Hospital. During the hour-long stream, Mufumbiro questioned the authenticity of Segirinya's illness.
"I am sending this message to my mother; the man who said that I faked my illness, I know for sure from what the doctors have told me, that I will die before him…but he must never come to my funeral. You cannot make a statement like that, I left this place dying. See what I look like now. I was nearly 100kg, I am now only 46kgs.”- Ssegirinya cried out.
Segirinya was recently discharged from the Amsterdam UMC hospital, where he received treatment for various ailments, including skin cancer and gastrointestinal complications. The MP has been advised to maintain regular contact with the hospital to monitor his progress.
Watch him speak out:
Hon @HonSsegirinya is sending heavy words to bigmouth @Nupfinest the @NUP_Ug deputy Spokesperson after he openly said Hon Ssegirinya was not sick. Ssegirinya said incase he dies, Mufumbiro Waiswa should never step at his funeral.
