Micho Drops Yunus Ssentamu as He Summons a 33 Man Uganda Cranes Squad for AFCON Preparations

The Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic on Sunday 22nd May released a 33 man provisional squad ahead of preparations for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers (AFCON).

Among the 33, is a Serbian 20 year-old UK based goalkeeper, Giosue Ebong Bellagambi who many have never heard about and to many Ugandans’ disappointment, was the omission of Vipers SC goal poacher Yunus Ssentamu despite netting 14 League goals and 6 Uganda Cup goals for the Venoms.

Uganda’s football governing body FUFA, confirmed the team will enter the camp at Paradise Hotel Kisaasi on Monday 23rd May to prepare for a match against Algeria in Algiers on 4th June before hosting Niger at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
