It has been goal fiesta at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje as a rejuvenated URA FC side destroyed Tooro United with a 6:1 thumping.

Steven Mukwala "Dese" was the man to watch after he hit four times to drive the Sam Timbe coached side to a much needed win with Joachim Ojera and Cromwell Rwothomio nodding in the others.

Tooro United had their sole strike coming from Mark Nsubuga but had less or no impact on the tax collectors who were rampant throughout.

The result lifts URA FC to 9th position level on points (6) with Busoga United but displaced them with a superior goal difference of seven.

After squandering points in their last two matches against Gadafi FC who they led 2:0 and lost 3:2 and Bul FC who they drew 2:2, URA FC who finished second last season are in a perfect mood to take on reigning Uganda Cup champions Vipers SC on Saturday.

At Njeru Technical Center, home side SC Villa lost 2:1 to Oil makers BUL FC. A brace from Musa Esenu ensured the Alex Isabirye coached side are now unbeaten in the last four seasons against SC Villa.

Action resumes on Friday with Bright Stars taking on Tooro United at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
