Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko has thrown all kinds of trash to Bobi Wine and his number one supporter Lumbuye Fred who was a few days ago arrested in Turkey.
Lumbuye, a vocal critique of the Ugandan Government and President Yoweri Museveni went missing from his residence in Turkey earlier this week.
His disappearance was quickly tied to Government’s recent overt push for foreign based critics such as Mr Lumbuye to be sought after, for spreading false and harmful propaganda.
Hon Muhammad Nsereko yesterday purported that Mr Lumbuye was not worth shielding from legal repercussions.
“Since when did propaganda, blackmail, hate speech and inciting terrorism become political activism?” he wondered.
“All the hypocrites that have been funding the goon are now posting garbage in his support.”
In response however, NUP Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya said Lumbuye should only face charges in Turkey if found culpable, but not returned to Uganda.
