As Uganda as a country together with the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) celebrate the 39th Tarehe Sita, the government of Uganda also finished constructing a newly road, Gulu to Kitgum road that our team got a chance to tour.
Blizz Uganda team got a chance to have a ride along this newly constructed road together with Bebe Cool under his “Silent Majority” movement and we are glad to let you know that it was a smooth ride as we are about to take you through the experience.
Our journey started all the way from Kampala that saw us traveling 434.5KM to Gulu town from where we got a chance to catch a nap as we waited for the morning hours to kick in so that we have a smooth ride on the newly constructed road in broad day light.
Driving from Gulu Wellspring Hotel, we headed out anticipating for 104.0Km on Gulu – Kitgum road. With our much boosted experience along different roads in the country, we are glad to let you know that there’s something worth celebrating in Uganda under the “Tarehe Sita” campaign.
Kitgum is a municipality in Kitgum District in the Northern Region of Uganda. The town is administered by Kitgum Town Council, an urban local government. It is the largest metropolitan area in the district and the site of the district headquarters.
