After Police FC unveiling senior player Tonny Mawejje, the 2005 Uganda Premier league champions have now also unveiled another new player, Hassan
Muhamood a recruit from Onduparak.
A club statement on their social media platforms read; "We are pleased to announce the signing of defender Hassan Muhamood from Onduparaka Football Club on a two-year deal"
Muhamood becomes the club's second signing of the ongoing transfer window after Tonny Mawejje returned at the club.
During the brief unveiling, Chairman AIGP Asan Kasingye said: “Muhamood brings energy to boost our defence and we are excited to have him. We are rebulding our club to make sure that we become a formidable force like we used to.
''We sorted out technical issues and now we are engaging all our efforts to make sure that we have a good team."
The Chaiman called upon the Police FC fraternity to remain together as one family. “ We call upon our fans and the team to remain together as we continue doing everything possible to make sure we compete at a highest level.
"This is the time to build structures and reclaim our glory."
A jovial Muhamood, after signing, commented: “I am so happy to join Police FC. It’s a new challenge for me as a player and am going to do my best so that we go back at the top. I am looking forward to meeting the players and coaches."
The youthful defender has played for Express FC and SC Villa.
Police FC finished the 2019/2020 season in 13th position with 25 points from 8 wins, 4 draws and 13 losses. It should be remembered that Police FC was docked 3 points for missing a match against Onduparaka when they attended East African Military games.
