Renowned Ugandan comedian and former member of the legendary Amarula Family, Mpirirwe Nickolas, commonly known as Messe Bwonter has tragically passed away in the United States reportedly due to a heart attack in Phoenix, Arizona.
The news of Messe’s death has shocked many through Uganda's entertainment industry, as fans and colleagues mourn the loss of a comedic icon who had made a significant impact with his wit, humor, and charm.
Messe rose to fame as a founding member of the Amarula Family, alongside fellow comedians Paddy Bitama (now deceased) and Amooti Omubalanguzi. The group was celebrated for its unique blend of satire and comedy, which often tackled social and political issues with a humorous twist.
After leaving Amarula Family, Messe worked as a radio presenter at Super FM before relocating to the U.S., where he settled and built a new life.
