After spending over 4 months at Kitalya Prison where he was remanded to earlier this year after his arrest in July, comedian turned self proclaimed Freedom-fighter Sammy Okanya has finally been released on a court bail.\
Sammy (Okanya Samuel) was detained at Kitalya Prison, having been arrested earlirt this year in July as he participated in the #March2Parliament protests.
Samuel was first kept in police custody for over a week, then later remanded when he appeared for bail application was asked to produce a passport that he didn’t have.
He has since appeared in Court thrice but has was not granted bail upto today when he has been set free.
