To address this angering issue, Jalia took to social media, including TikTok, to share her ordeal, and the response was overwhelming during the Livestream she made exposing the truth.
With tears streaming down her face, Jalia shared her frustration and disappointment, sparking a firestorm of support from millions of Ugandans.

The online community rallied behind her, condemning the actions of Kenyan customs and demanding the release of her goods and a few hours later, the power of social media and Jalia's influence proved to work.
Apparently, the authorities eventually relented, releasing the shipment.
She later took to her social media to share how soon her shop in Uganda, which she just opened up recently, will be filled with the products as soon as they arrive in the country.
