Turkish based Ugandan blogger, opposition National Unity Platform, NUP party supporter and renown ruling government critic Fred Lumbuye will not be deported from Asia back to Uganda after Turkish judicial system ruled against it on Monday.

Lumbuye who was recently held under the Turkish authorities custody late last year feared deportation to the extent of his political leaning party, The National Unity Platform (NUP) party hiring a Turkish lawyer to handle the controversy surrounding his deportation

His lawyer could petition the Attorney General of Turkey to block the impending deportation as he asked the matter to be handled in the local courts, a petition that accordingly cost NUP a bill of over $71,000 (about Shs255m) as legal fees to make sure that Mr Lumbuye gets asylum in the Netherlands.

After months of waiting, the motor mouthed government critic has shared the good news through his socials while in company of his lawyer and close pal Pato Ug how he is a free man after Turkish courts closed his deportation case.

"TURKISH JUDICIAL SYSTEM/COURT RULES AGAINST LUMBUYE DEPORTATION šŸ™šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¬šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¬šŸ˜˜šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„CASE CLOSED. WE HAVE FAUGHT A GOOD FIGHT WE HAVE COMPLETED THE RACE WE HAVE KEPT THE FAITH šŸ™šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¬šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¬šŸ˜˜āœŠšŸ”„šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¬,"- Lumbuye has partly stated through his socials.

He has further hailed the Turkish government and the judicial system for exhibiting utmost justice as well as Ugandans for standing with him during his trying times.

"THANKS GOES TO ALL UGANDANS WHO STOOD UP FOR LUMBUYE TO BE FREED AND HE WAS RELEASED, THESE INCLUDE TWITTER WARRIORS, UGANDANS WHO WENT ON STREETS TO PROTEST, THOSE WHO GAVE WHAT THEY HAD FOR LUMBUYE TO BE RELEASED AND THOSE WHO USED SOCIAL MEDIA FOR LUMBUYE RELEASE. #LUMBUYE WINS THE CASE AGAINST UGANDA GOVERNMENT.
