Moses Kakooza and Sunny Kaija scored in the 27th and 88th minute respectively, to earn Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) a 2-0 win over Kampala University (KU) in the Pepsi University Football League game played in Nkozi today Thursday.
Victory for UMU ensured that they have avenged their 2-1 first leg loss away to KU.It also meant that all the 4 teams in Group E are tied on 6pts.
Goal difference separates the 4 teams in Group E after 4 games each; UMU is top followed by Ndejje University, Gulu University, and KUare positioned 3rd and 4th respectively.
Action in the University Football League will continue on Friday with a Group C fixture between Bishop Stuart University and Kyambogo University in Mbarara at 3pm.
