Tanzania's newly appointed President Suluhu Samia Hassan will receive a 21 gun salute at State House, Entebbe, being her first time to visit Uganda as a Head of State. She has flown in to sign an oil deal.
President Samia Suluhu Hassan was officially received by Hon. Sam Kutesa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Government Ministers and Senior Officials.
The Tanzanian Delegation was led by Hon. Palamagamba John Aidan Mwaluko Kabudi, Minister of Legal & Constitutional Affairs and included Hon. Liberata Mulamula Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Dr. Medard Kalemani, Minister of Energy Prof. Adelardus Kilangi Attorney General and Prof. Florens Luoga the Governor of the Bank of Tanzania.
This is the first official visit to Uganda by H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan since she assumed the Office of President of the United Republic of Tanzania.
