Singer Yasin Mukasa, widely known as Lil Pazo Lunabe, has extended an apology to the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, and the Buganda Kingdom over the controversial nature of his music.

This development comes after the Katikkiro publicly announced a ban on Lil Pazo’s songs across Buganda Kingdom-owned media platforms, including CBS FM and BBS Terefayina. Fellow artist Gravity Omutujju was also named in the directive.

During a recent visit to the Buganda Kingdom headquarters in Mengo, Kampala, Lil Pazo expressed deep regret for the inappropriate content in his music. He acknowledged the concerns raised by the Kingdom’s leadership and demonstrated a willingness to amend his approach to align with the Kingdom’s cultural values.

“I apologize to the Katikkiro and the entire Kingdom for my past actions,” said Lil Pazo. “I take full responsibility and promise to improve my work moving forward.”

His gesture has been received as a step toward reconciliation and improvement, signaling his desire to rebuild his relationship with the Kingdom and its leadership.
