The National Unity Platform (NUP) Party Candidate and presidential aspirant, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka has been granted bail by Iganga Chief Magistrate, Jessica Chemeri. The case against him has been adjourned to 18th December 2020.

Kyagulanyi was arrested in Luuka on Wednesday for reportedly flouting guidelines for the prevention of Coronavirus, sparking riots across Uganda.
He was detained at Nalufenya Police station in Jinja.
