Singer Dr. Jose Chameleone, currently undergoing treatment in the United States, has called for a joint concert featuring rival musicians Alien Skin and Pallaso as a gesture of reconciliation and solidarity in the Ugandan music industry.

Chameleone took to X (formerly Twitter) to commend Capt. Mike Mukula, the NRM Vice Chairman for Eastern Uganda and former Health Minister, for mediating the ongoing feud between his younger brother Pallaso and Alien Skin.

“As a brother to both Alien Skin and Pallaso, I urge them to embrace reconciliation and resolve their differences peacefully. Collaboration is vital for the growth of Uganda’s music industry and the broader East African region. So much more can be achieved together than apart! I commend our patron @Mukulaa for his efforts to deescalate the situation,” Chameleone wrote.

The star emphasized the importance of unity, encouraging the two artists to organize a joint concert as a powerful symbol of goodwill.

“I encourage Alien Skin and Pallaso to organize a joint concert, sending a powerful message of solidarity and goodwill to all Ugandans. Together, we can achieve greatness!”

Chameleone’s appeal comes in the wake of the first reconciliation meeting between the two artists, following violent clashes that have dominated headlines. Capt. Mukula hosted the meeting at his residence in Bugolobi, engaging both musicians separately. He first met with Alien Skin and later with Pallaso, who was accompanied by his parents.

The reconciliation efforts aim to heal divisions within Uganda’s music scene, which has recently been marred by gang-related violence and public disputes.
