Balaam Barugahara has comeout to explain why he sent money to Frank Gashumba after being exposed that he was trying to bribe Gashumba to support the ruling NRM Party.

Just out of the blue, the motor-mouthed motivational speaker and a critic of President Museveni, Gashumba received a notification early on Saturday morning from MTN Mobile Money that he has received 1M from Balaam Barugahara. Gashumba went on his Facebook page and posted a screenshot of the of Mobile Money message asking whether Balaam is trying to bribe him into supporting Museveni.

Balaam, If my assumptions are correct that the one million shillings you just sent to my mobile account is to have me side with this nation’s jajja, then you are surely mistaken” Gashumba asserted.

Balaam has however come out to explain that the money is not a bribe but rather a good-hearted gift to Gashumba. Balaam went on to say that Gashumba is a big name that can’t be bribed with just one million shillings and it is therefore not right to mistaken a gift for a bribe.

“Frank M. Gashumba his bigger than 1m” Balaam said

Unknown to most of us, Frank Gashumba has always helped Balaam in businesses and Balaam confessed to having received help of more than 10 Million from the Eagle Show host and giving him that million was part of paying back.

“He has given me over and above 10 million before” confessed Balaam adding that “Sharing with a brother isn't a crime.”

Balaam Barugahara has for the past three years been the key person in President Museveni’s political camp known for promoting project Muhoozi and also bringing artists and other celebrities to Museveni’s side.

Gashumba nevertheless accepted the money and promised to use it a Nicodemus Pork Joint, a popular pork hub in Nankulabye, buying pork for people who enjoy it.

“Anyway, it’s the weekend so let me go down to Nakulabye and share this with the pork eaters at Nicodemus” concluded Gashumba.
