The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has called upon the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs to assist musician Eddy Kenzo to return home from Ivory Coast.
Through her social media, Twitter account, Kadaga has empathized with him too, thus requesting the ministry responsible to assist the musician to return home.
"I received a phone call today from @eddykenzoficial who is stuck in Cote d’Ivoire where he had gone to perform. The lockdown found him out of the country. He is in dire straits. He has spent whatever he had. He’s unable to come home because the flights are not available."- she tweeted.
"I call upon the Ministry of Foreign Affairs @mofaug, working through our Mission in #Abuja to offer him consular services so that he can be assisted to return home; but to also meet his bills."- She added.
