Singer Maureen Nantume has finally come out and announced how she is no longer part of Golden Band where she has been a member together with fellow musicians; Mesach Semakula, Grace Sekamatte, Catherine Kusasira and Fred Seruga among others.
While appearing on a Local TV station for an interview, Spark Television, Maureen Nantume announced that she is officially tired and is nolonger part of Golden Band as she is now a solo artiste.
"There's a time when a person is officially tired. But to be clear, I am nolonger part of Golden Band, if you want to book me, contact me directly"- Maureen confirmed.
Meanwhile, it should also be remembered that a few months ago Ronald Mayinja also quit from the Band. Female singer Hajjat Stecia Mayanja also quit Golden Band in September 2018.
The Band was formed after the split of the original Eagles Production in 2014. Mesach Semakula, Ronald Mayinja, Maureen Nantume, Stecia Mayanja, Grace Sekamatte, Catherine Kusasira, Fred Seruga and others decided to form Golden Band while Geoffrey Lutaaya and his wife Irene Namatovu formed Da New Eagles.
