House of Prayer Ministries lead Pastor, Aloysius Bujjingo, has advised his followers to shun political leaders who respect homosexuality rights just as Bobi Wine came out a few days ago and pleaded.
As he gears up to run for the country's top most office in the country, MP Bobi Wine has already kick started receiving heavy criticism for his political beliefs and manifesto which some think isn't appropriate for a person with the strong desire of taking over his country's general affairs.
In 2014, Parliament approved the anti-homosexuality gay bill and President Museveni assented to it before it was repealed by the Constitutional Court.
Although he did not mention him by name, the Man of God accordingly was throwing jibes at the Kyadondo East Parliamentary MP and People Power opposition pressure group leader, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi alias MP Bobi Wine given his recent comments in regards to people practicing homosexuality.
“They asked one of the presidential hopefuls in Uganda what he thinks about gays, try to look for his reply. You as a born again, don’t just go with any politician. First look out for what these politicians think about the God you serve. The gays are so rich with a lot of power and they can isolate you for not believing in them,” Bujjingo said according to a video uploaded on Youtube on December.
It must be remembered that during an interview with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), when asked for his perception about the homosexual rights, MP Bobi Wine clearly revealed his readiness to honour and support the rights of all citizens without discrimination.
The Ghetto Republic President affirmed that although he does not agree with gays, as a leader, he will have the responsibility of guarding the rights of all citizens irrespective of their sexual orientation.
Pastor Bujjingo has also cautioned his followers about people using equipment donned with the rainbow as they real gay advocates given the fact that the gays chose this symbol so that whenever God is about to destroy them, He recalls this promise.
“Thank God, otherwise the world would have been destroyed already. They searched in the Bible and saw that the rainbow is a sign that God chose that is why they hold rainbow umbrellas and symbols so that He doesn’t destroy them,” He added.
