In a function held at Kati Kati restaurant in Kampala today Monday 11th November, 2019, Vipers' coach Edward Golola has been named the Pilsner Coach of the month, October.
The tactician helped the three times league winners to win five and draw two of the seven matches played in October and remain the unbeaten side in the league. Vipers stand top of the sixteen team log on 30 points after nine wins and three draws from twelve matches.
On speaking after this victory, the tactician had to state,
“I thank the players for the efforts made so far. It is one thing to be a coach but another to have players that deliver results,” he said before adding, “Winning an individual award like this, my first at the club. It is the perfect time to appreciate my technical team who have so hard since the start of the season.
Coach Edward Golola beat Peter Onen coach to second placed BUL FC and Abbey Kikomeko of Busoga United who stand seventh on the table.
BUL FC played six matches, won three, drew two and lost one whereas Busoga United played five matches, won three, drew one and lost one.
