Socialite Bad Black and fashion stylist Kim Swagga have reignited their long-standing feud, following revelations that Kim is not the biological father of Bad Black’s daughter, Davina Kibirige. Many don't know how this longlived battle started 12 years ago.
For over a decade, Bad Black, real name Shanita Namuyimbwa, has publicly claimed that Kim Swagga fathered her daughter, accusing him of being an absent parent who refused to take responsibility. However, a shocking twist emerged when Kim Swagga announced that he secretly conducted a DNA test, which ruled him out as the biological father.
In a statement shared online, Kim Swagga explained that he managed to take the test without Bad Black’s knowledge after convincing doctors to conduct it. He admitted that he initially kept the results private but decided to come forward after years of speculation.
"I took her to the hospital and got a chance to take a DNA test without the mother’s consent. Unfortunately, it wasn’t easy because I needed her permission, but I pleaded with the doctor and promised to keep the results to myself. I regret not informing Bad Black earlier," he stated.
He further challenged Bad Black to another DNA test, this time to be conducted live on camera, for transparency.
However, Bad Black fired back in an explosive response, saying Kim Swagga was wasting his time, as she had always been the sole caretaker of her daughter.
"Davina is 13 years old, not 10. But there is no need for another test. From the start, I have been taking care of her, and responsibility was out of your control. That’s why I suggested Ssepuya take the DNA test instead," she wrote.
The controversy took a darker turn when Bad Black accused Kim Swagga of raping her when she was 22, claiming that her long-standing hatred for him stems from that traumatic experience. She also criticized his lifestyle, saying he is homeless at 43 and still living under the care of music manager Jeff Kiwa.
"You waited 13 years to satisfy your stupid ego. You have no family, no job, no address—what will my daughter inherit from you? Even if DNA tests were free, you have nothing to offer her. I will continue to attack you forever," she ranted.
