Renowned music producer Ian Pro has publicly aired grievances against Luga Flow rapper Feffe Bussi, accusing him of failing to pay for several music projects the two collaborated on. Their working relationship, which initially yielded multiple hit songs, has soured due to Feffe Bussi’s alleged refusal to compensate Ian Pro for his services.
In an interview, Ian Pro revealed that the rapper cheated him on multiple occasions despite their close work relationship. One of the key incidents involved a brand ambassador song for Africell, produced and mastered by Ian Pro, for which he claims to have received no payment.
“Feffe Bussi was never my friend, but he was introduced to me through a mutual connection. I didn’t need his influence—I was already a star with a hit song before we met. He never paid for studio time, as he could talk his way out of any situation. He promised to pay in bits, but that never happened,” lamented Ian Pro.
The fallout escalated in 2021 when Feffe Bussi released his hit track ‘Emboozi Ye Gulu’, a song recounting events surrounding a musician’s visit to General Salim Saleh in Gulu. Ian Pro, who produced the song and helped facilitate their meeting with the general, claims Feffe Bussi pocketed a large sum of money given to them for the project without sharing it.
“I’m owed a lot of money. I drove him to Gulu for the song, and after receiving the money from General Salim Saleh, he used it to buy a car without giving me a single shilling,” Ian Pro revealed.
A video clip circulating online features Ian Pro pleading with Feffe Bussi for payment, further fueling the controversy. The producer expressed disappointment, comparing Feffe Bussi’s behavior to that of fellow rapper Fik Fameica, who entered the industry later but has found success through honesty and professionalism.
"Artists with real talent don’t act like this. It’s the ones struggling who cause such drama and run away with money,” Ian Pro remarked.
