As the battle between events promoter Abbey Musinguzi of Abtex Promotions and singer Mulwana Patrick aka Alien Skin continues to intesify, things have taken a new bitter twist as the promoter has issued an intention to sue letter unless if he is paid UGx 77 Million in just one week.
Basing on documents making rounds on social media, Abitex took a bold step in his quest for justice by serving Alien Skin with the intention to sue over the cancelation of the Nkwacho festival.
He claims that Alien Skin cited delayed payment of Shs100m which he had asked for to perform at the event as the reason why he canceled the festival which had been slated for 27th August.
Abtex has revealed how he wants Alien Skin to pay over Shs77m for the losses and damages and the singer to pay Shs71.5m as compensation for the expenses he incurred in booking the venue for the event, the booking fee, paying for adverts on the media, and making ground drives, among other things.
Not only is he demanding for all that, but also wants the artist to foot Shs6m as the legal fees to Lunar Advocates.
