Full List of All New Cabinet Ministers of Uganda 2024 as Appointed by President Museveni

In a surprising turn of events last night, President Yoweri Museveni announced significant changes to his cabinet, including the removal of Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Wilson Mbadi, and the appointment of two individuals closely associated with First Son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Here we have the full list of all newly appointed Ministers.

The reshuffle saw Kitgum Woman Member of Parliament, Lillian Aber, and Mr Balaam Barugahara, a prominent organizer of First Son's events, elevated to junior ministerial positions. Aber will now serve as the State Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, while Barugahara takes on the role of State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs.

Cabinet Ministers:

• A diverse array of portfolios ranging from Education and Sports to Finance, Planning, and Economic Development have been allocated to esteemed individuals including HON. JANET KATAAHA MUSEVENI, HON. MATIA KASAIJA, and HON. JEJE ODONGO ABUBAKAR.

Ministers of State:

• The cabinet is further reinforced by a cohort of Ministers of State, each entrusted with specialized domains, such as Economic Monitoring, Defense, and Regional Affairs.

Presidential Advisors and Support Staff:

• Notable personalities including HON. VINCENT B SSEMPIJA and HON. KWIYUCWINY GRACE FREEDOM have been appointed as Senior Presidential Advisors, augmenting the administrative apparatus.

• Administrative arrangements also include Principal Private Secretary ASIO OMASWA and Deputy PPS IRENE BIRUNGYI, who has been reassigned to the Ministry of Public Service for deployment.
