Sports Journalist Usher Komugisha Falls into Things, to Cover World Cup for Al Jazeera

Multiple award-winning African multimedia sports journalist Usher Komugisha has fallen into things, after being handed the mantle to cover the FIFA World Cup competitions for global media powerhouse, Al Jazeera.

Its a big milestone for the seasoned journalist as she joins the Triplets Ghetto Kids to continue flying the Uganda's flag high in the Asian desert country of Qatar ahead of the global soccer competitions.

Her new role will involve her conducting exclusive interviews with the world’s crème dela crème of professional footballers, a glimpse of the behind the scenes at coverage of proceedings and breaking news on behalf of the international radio and TV broadcaster of Qatar that is based in Doha, Qatar.

“Excited to announce that I will be covering this year’s FIFA World Cup for Al Jazeera. Expect exclusive interviews with the world’s best players, behind-the-scenes coverage and breaking news from the entire team. Join us,” tweeted Usher Komugisha.

Usher Komugisha has forged herself an admirable career in sports journalism and has been one of the country’s most outstanding sports correspondents.

She has over a decade-long experience whose work has been featured on several international media outlets including SuperSport, BBC, ESPN, Sky Sports and AL Jazeera.
