Ugandan film company Pearlwood has cried out to the Ugandan Premier Hon Robinah Nabbanja for her intervention to effect the release of Wakaliwood actor Earnest K. Sserunya who was arrested over the weekend at the just climaxed Nyege Nyege Festival in Jinja and as Blizz Uganda, we have dug deep into the root cause of his arrest.
Mr. Earnest K. Sserunya who is a senior actor and director couldn't survive the cold handcuffs of the law enforcers after exhibiting a scary bloody make-up on his stomach showing how fictional wounds are made in movies.
The latter could be arrested by security personnel at the Nyege Nyege Festival and is till now behind the bars.
Though his work of art looked so real, it is reported that it created uncomfortable amongst many revelers including the Red Cross team at the venue who got concerned.
Through the Pearlwood social media pages, the latter have pleaded to the concernes persons for the unconditional release of Sserunya because he is a humble citizen and entertainer who was just showcasing his talent and God-given skill.
