National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamuu aka Bobi Wine has shared how he held a very private and productive meeting with the Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and other top government officials.

Bobi Wine flew to Ukraine capital Kyiv on Tuesday shortly after holding a concert in Dubai to raise money for Ugandans stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) such that they can return to Uganda.

During his  trip in Ukraine, Bobi Wine together with a few others held a private meeting with Tymoshenko, although the matters they discussed remain confidential.

“Today in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, we met with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the Chairman and Minister for defence and adviser to the President-Andrii Zahorodniuk, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament, the Committee of Foreign economic relations and effective use of Foreign Aid and we also met the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine-Ivanna Klympush.

I've visited the areas of Bucha, Dmitrovka, Borodyanka, and Hostomel in Ukraine. These cities are testament to the devastation and ruin by Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, but also the resilience of the Ukrainian people who have so courageously fought back."
