News reaching our desk indicate how Uganda’s forward and KCCA FC player Sadat Anaku has completed a move to Scotland’s Dundee United FC.
Sadat Anaku has penned a two year contract at the side that plays in the top tier of the Scotland football league, the Scottish Premier League.
The deal was triggered following successful trials at the club’s matches against the u-23 teams of Leicester city, Newcastle and Arsenal.
He is tasked with helping rejuvenate the club’s scoring levels having scored only two goals in four matches and currently stand 10th on a 12 team table with only two points.
In Scotland, he joins Motherwell’s Bevis Mugabi who also plays in the same league. Scotland premier league has also previously been a playing league for former Uganda Cranes forward David Obua.
The former Uganda Cranes captain and currently Lango FC coach in FUFA Drum tournament enjoyed a successful stint at Scottish side Heart of Midlothian FC.
Sadat Anaku has had a fast breakthrough to professional football having been promoted to the KCCA FC senior team in 2019 after shining in U-17 FUFA Juniors League where he won three top scorer’s gongs.
