Bobi Wine Orders Diapora NUP Supporters to Stop Abusing People

National Unity Platform, NUP Party President, Hon Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu alias HE Bobi Wine has cautioned his party's diaspora supporters against bashing and abusing Buganda Kingdom leaders.

Bobi Wine says such actions of impunity don't represent the ideology and agenda of the opposition National Unity Platform, NUP party.

The former Presidential candidate has raised his head up following a trending social media video of a 'purportedly to be' NUP supporter in Boston, USA only identified as Nalubwama hurling abuses and insults at Buganda Kingdom's Katikkiro Peter Mayiga and Kabaka's wife, Nabagereka during a demonstration for not doing enough to fight for Kabaka's rights to ascertain advanced medical attention amidst his worrying health condition.

According to Bobi Wine, there's no way he can keep silent when his cultural norms and values are being demeaned by a one Nalubwama whose actions seem to falsely identify with, advocating for, championing, campaigning for and promoting the National Unity Platform party.

As the African saying goes that an egg that will hatch into a cock can be seen early enough, so is a political formation that will transform the country!

Though Bobi Wine believes its right to demonstrate as a way of expressing grief of the irregularities going on Uganda, uttering statements bashing and abusing dignitaries and other sections of Ugandans is totally wrong.

Through a Facebook social media statement, Bobi Wine has henceforth condemned Nalubwama and others who claim to speak for NUP, thereby promoting actions of hate which are neither good for the Baganda she purports to fight for, nor for the NUP nor even for the change seeking Ugandans.

Bobi Wine says NUP supporters should be able to present themselves as as a more credible political alternative by proving that they are different from those they are fighting by demonstrating their political alternative rather than hate and lies.
