The University of Kisubi will host Muni University in Group B of the 2022 Pepsi University Football League (UFL) in Kisubi on Wednesday at 3pm.
Both sides have had a poor season and according to Kisubi head coach Louis Kizito that is the end of the road as far as his side's debut season is concerned.
“There is a slim chance for us to go past the group stages but it is not in our hands and I believe that this is the end of our journey this season.”
“We shall embrace the remaining games but majorly it will be for pride. I can only say we shall return a strong team next season better we have had a taste of the UFL", Kizito noted.
After 4 games, Kisubi has gathered only 3pts in 3rd place while Muni is pointless at the bottom and completely out of the competition this season.
Makerere University Business School leads the proceedings in Group B with maximum points, 12 while Nkumba University follows in 2nd position with 9pts.
Action in the University Football League continues throughout the week at various grounds across the country.
