Comedian Patrick Salvado real name Patrick Idringi has officially quit as the host of 88.2 Sanyu FM’s breakfast show.
The Stand up comedian had spent almost two good years while waking up and thrilling listeners with edutainment on the much-anticipated show that is scheduled every weekday from 6 to 10 am.
In a lengthy goodbye and appreciation letter that the self-styled ‘Man from Ombokolo’ has shared through his socials, Salvado has revealed how he is quitting the air waves so as to fully concentrate on his career as a comedian.
Though he says it has been a dream working with the Cream De'la cream of Uganda's radio stations, there was need respect normal radio programming that requires consistency of a presenter on a fulltime basis something he couldn't fulfill due to his complex comedy schedule.
Salvado will be officially signing out of Sanyu FM at the end of the month of April and has hailed his family friend and boss Rajiv Ruparelia for his kind and welcoming heart that offered him a job at times when he was hopeless following the shutting down of the entertainment industry due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It was his second time working on radio airwaves having sat in the Sanyu breakfast show has been previously hosted by Fatboy and Jo.
