Express Fc have lost their first match under new coach James Odoch to relegation threatened side Busoga United. Paul Ssekulima scored through a wonderful stanner outside the box to give the Jinja side the lead untill the final whistle.
The match was Express FC's new coach James Odoch's first since being appointed successor of Wasswa Bbosa who was relieved of his duties at the club a few days ago. The loss means the Red Eagle have not won in their last four matches following draws against Tooro United and twice in succession against Bright stars.
Express remain fifth on the table, level on points with Arua Hills (29) in 6th position and seperated only by goal difference of six.
For Busoga United, it is an on and off performance for the Jinja side in the last four match with two wins and two losses, a win after a loss.
The win lifts Busoga United up from relegation zone to 13th position with 17 points, replacing Mbarara City who dropped to the red Zone.
At Bombo Military Barrack grounds, Vipers needed to come a goal from behind to salvage a point at home side UPDF FC.UPDF were ahead in half time through Ivan Ahimbisibwe's 37th minute penalty whereas the Venoms equalized throught a direct free kick straight into the net courtesy of Paul Mucureezi in the 75th minute.
