Uganda's representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have been alerted of the dates for their encounter with Al Masry Sporting Club by Africa's football governing body.
Confederation of African Football (CAF) gave that URA FC will play their first leg against the Egyptian outfit on Saturday 16th October,2021 with the second leg slated for a week later on Sunday 24th October,2021.
URA FC will be praying in the second preliminary round after edging past Ethiopian Coffee FC in the first preliminary round with a 5:2 aggregate score.
This followed a 2:1 win at home and a 3:1 away win in mid September against the Ethiopian side. URA FC was chosen to represent Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup having finished second in the recently prematurely ended Uganda Premier League season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Hence, they took a slot that would be now occupied by Vipers SC who eventually won the Stanbic Uganda Cup when they beat BUL FC 8:1 in a historical final at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on 26th September,2021.
