Police is currently hunting down for Goodlyfe singer Weasel Manizo for an immediate arrest after learning that he bitterlu beat up his close friend and shamba boy to pulp, his family is hiding him from authorities.
Police has spoken out accusing the family of Weasel Manizo of obstructing justice.
Baker took this case to police and even opened a file but since he took it, Weasel has been out sight. Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy police spokesperson says all the times they have gone to Weasel’s home, it has been in vain.
According to Luke, reports indicate that the singer has settled the matter with the victim. However, Owoyesigerye says this matter can not be settled outside court because it is criminal in nature.
“We have on several occasions gone to his home to arrest the suspect but is nowhere to be seen whereas his known telephone contacts are not available. Kaweesi reported to police that at Kizungu Zone, Makindye Division in Kampala district, Douglas Mayanja, alias Weasel, Giz , Pompo and others beat him up and broke one of his legs on allegations that he has been disrespecting Weasel’s girlfriend,” Owoyesigyire said.
