Singer Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, faced a last-minute venue cancellation for his highly anticipated concert on February 21, 2025. Initially set to take place at Hotel Africana, the event was called off after the hotel’s management withdrew from the agreement.

Why Did Hotel Africana Cancel the Concert?

According to a leaked audio recording allegedly from a Hotel Africana employee, the cancellation was due to:

• Concerns over fan misconduct – Management cited repeated instances of disorderly behavior by Alien Skin’s supporters.
• Lack of approval from top management – The deal was reportedly not officially sanctioned, making it invalid from a business standpoint.

Despite the setback, Alien Skin, through Nobat Events, swiftly announced a new venue—Lugogo Cricket Oval—for the same concert date.

However, the event organizers are considering legal action against Hotel Africana, citing:
