Delta TV and Beat FM journalist Katongole Denis commonly known as "Omutongole" has reportedly showed interest in running for the vacant Kayunga District Local Council Five Chairperson seat.

The media personality happens to be among the several political figures showing interest in filling the vacant Kayunga District Local Council V chairperson vacant seat following the death of incumbent, Ffefeka Sserubogo.

The latest coming in on the Blizz news desk indicates how the former Bbale county parliamentary aspirant is gearing to run for the vacant seat on the National Unity Platform, NUP Party ticket.

This follows the pending by election to get a successor to the Kayunga District LC V boss, Ffefeka Sserubogo who reportedly committed suicide days ago.

Katongole's first try in active politics ended in tears as his hopes of representing Bbale county, Kayunga District in the 11th parliament ended in tears after being beaten by NUP's Tebandeke Charles.
