Uganda adds more 85 COVID-19 cases and 1 death

More 85 COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in Uganda out 1879 samples tested on Friday 30th October. In addition, one COVID-19 related death has also been announced in the results announced by the Ministry of Health Uganda on Saturday evening.

All 85 new patients are cases from community in form of contacts and alerts. Kampala takes the largest share with 54 patients followed by Wakiso with 15, Hoima 7, Kasese 5, Moyo 3 and Masaka 1.

The new COVID-19 death was recorded in Sironko District in Eastern Uganda.

Uganda has cumulatively tested COVID-19 samples since the pandemic began is equal to 549158 with 12,495 Ugandans confirmed positive. 7503 people have recovered so far while 111 have recovered thus having a record breaking figure of 4881 active cases.
