As Masaza cup tournament 2020 only awaits the COVID-19 lock down to be lifted for the kick off to take place, Kyadondo are now the 17th county of the 18 participating counties to nametheir head coach to take them through the quest for a second Masaza Cup title.
Kyadondo’s chief titled “Kaggo” Owek. Patrick Mugumbule tasked George William Lutalo Bbosa to take on the reigns from Paul “Kiwa” Kiwanuka who guided the side to a third place finish last year when they outmuscvled Buddu.
Lutalo who among others club played for Police Fc is a former Tooro United (Formerly called SOANA FC) coach, and former Uganda Premier League outfit Jinja Municipal Council Fc coach. He is currently the assistant coach of Sam Ssimbwa at Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club.
Apart from Bugerere, the rest of the 18 counties have now confirmed their coaches. Defending champions Bulemeezi retained Simon Peter Mugerwa, last year’s runners Up Busiro named former Kyadondo coach Paul “Kiwa” Kiwanuka as their coach, Kyadondo named George William Lutalo Bbosa, Buddu named 2016 winning coach Steven Bogere, Buwekula named Robert Kafeero “Capello”, Busujju named Royal Giant SS coach Frank Mulindwa, Gomba Named Ibrahim Kirya, Singo named Edward Golola,Buluuli named former Busiri coach Noah Mugerwa, Mawogola named Simon “Dunga” Ddungu,Ssese named Hamid Kibirango, Lyantonde based county Kabuala named Paddy Kakande, Islanders Buvuma named Bugiri SS “da School” coach Ifan Ikoba, Butambala retained Robert Katongole “Emuron Recoba”, Kooki named Sadiq Ssempigi,Kyaggwe named Hussedin Mbalangu and finally is mawokota’s Richard Malinga.
