Uganda music in 2019 has not been at its best, unlike the recent years, many musicians saw a setback in their music career. Some of them like Bobi Wine received a setback due to restrictions from the government because of his open involvement in politics while other musicians had other reasons which include financial set downs from unyielding concerts, conflicts with management and politicizing of their music, drugs among others.

That put aside, this didn’t stop some musicians to shine individually and breakthrough both locally and internationally. We have managed to get 10 most viewed songs on YouTube and interestingly over 20 songs this year unlike last other years passed the mark of 1 Million Views.
